The inspiration of Hermes Cape Cod painted enamel Limited edition comes from the Hermes scarf Bali Barret designed. The painted enamel dial bears bold, refined interlaced geometrical lines, as if a fine horse is galloping in a solid space. Anita Porchet, was invited to do it for Hermes, and she is a reputable Swiss female painter for enamel painting skills. She used an ultra-thin paintbrush to brush enamel pigments on the dial, and after a layer of enamel pigments, the dial was put into the furnace above 1100 ℃. Then the step would be done again and again until glass-like surface was fixed on the dial. The hand-made dial reveals complicated crafts and great achievement.
